The La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club has the absolute discretion to suspend, expel, terminate or cancel any applicant for membership, if, in the sole judgment of the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, a Member, an authorized member of the Household or an Invitee: (1) conducts himself/herself in an inappropriate manner; (2) violates any provision of these By-Laws/House & Ground Rules; (3) defaults in the payment of initiation fees, membership dues, house accounts or charges incurred; (4) makes any misrepresentation in the application for membership; (5) lacks character unbecoming of a member; (6) takes action that is detrimental to the welfare, interest or character of the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club; (7) has been accused of, is convicted, or pled nolo contendere to a crime, or (8) refuses or fails to supply information requested by the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club with respect to such members’ charitable contributions, community activities, club participation or cooperate with respect to any issue set forth or related herein (“Terminating Act”). Please add my name to the waiting list for membership in the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club. Submitted with this application is payment of $1000, a non-refundable processing fee. I understand that in order to keep my name on the waiting list, I will be required to pay the annual renewal fee of $100 which will be billed to me at the conclusion of each year that my name remains on the list. If at any time I fail to pay the fees due in a timely fashion, my name may be removed from the list and any fees paid in connection with the waiting list will be forfeited. I further agree to promptly notify the Club of any changes in the information listed above. *Rates Subject to Change. Initiation fees and annual dues are not locked in for new membership applicants. Applicants are subject to whatever fees are in place, at the time full application is completed and approved by the Club Membership Committee. Any and all Club fees and dues, inclusive of the initiation fee, renewal fee, processing fee and all annual dues, are non-refundable under any circumstance, including the suspension or termination of membership for any reason. Three (3) Letters of Recommendation will be required from current Club Members, once you reach to top of the waiting list. Please list below names of potential sponsors for membership:
